What We Water operates using a reproductive justice framework. The fight for reproductive justice centers the struggles of the most marginalized women—Black and brown, queer, low-income—all women who have been left out of mainstream feminism. We advocate and educate not only for the reproductive rights and health of women, but also for the end of systemic political, economic, and social oppression that jeopardize women’s rights to healthy reproductive lives and bodily autonomy.
